Frankie was born at 5:39 a.m. on a morning 2 days away from Fall and one day away from her great-grandmother's death.

Her mother was jolted awake by a stray lightning bolt from a close-by storm. It's the origin and backstory for her 1st tattoo, a lightning bolt across the inside of her ring finger.

Born in Memphis, that's where she’s stayed for the most part. For now.

At 17, Frankie started as a blank slate at the University of Memphis. From there she spent the summer before her sophomore year in France. She studied the language, arts & cinema, and the delicious cuisine. Her sister taunted Frankie when she noticed that there were as many food pictures as nature ones.

She'd spend a month in 2014 in China with a close friend made during her study abroad. Frankie's visited her in Toronto throughout the years.

She graduated with a bachelor's in English and Psychology. There was an honors thesis for English somewhere in there, too.

Frankie has always been scribbling away in notebooks. She thinks that one of the 1st flickers of wanting to be a writer lit while watching the papers fly from the briefcase and over the hills during the Goosebumps intro. Stories blanketing the town. She knew it when for no reason she decided to write a poem for her 4th grade poetry contest (and won 2nd place).

Most writers can attest to their favorite hobby, beyond the torture of writing, is reading. And Frankie is no exception. She's read 250+ books and is still searching Goodreads for ones missed. She read a lot as a child, dipped off during university time, and is now back at it!

When Frankie's not doing either of the above, she's playing the Sims. She's been an avid simmer since the 1st game released in 2001. It would be no surprise to find her hours deep in a medieval save or completing one of the multiple legacy challenges she has going.

In between those hobbies, that borderline on fixations, she can be found tending the many arrowhead and pothos propagations rooting in glass jars of all shapes, sizes, and colors. She also cares for 4 funeral peace lilies at the moment (which could shrink to 3 at any moment).

Frankie's also obsessed with the stars. She came across astrology as an adult. The patterns of the planets and the push and pull of the moon on the tides, they also have to have secrets to unlock about her.

The Virgo Sun and Rising bring the anxiety. The Scorpio Moon and Leo Venus spark the passion.
